Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

9:06 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, East Armstrong Road and North CR 475E, Leesburg. Drivers: Jesse L. Roberts, 26, Smith Street, Milford and Shiann Hann, 24, EMS B14 Lane, Pierceton. Roberts fell asleep at the wheel and his car crossed center, hitting Hann’s vehicle head-on. No injuries were reported. Medics also checked two children in Roberts’ vehicle and signed them off on transport.

4:49 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 121 S. Main St. Milford. Driver: Joellen M. Free, 66, Emeline Street, Milford. Hit parked car while backing out of parking lot. Damage up to $5,000.
