Michael Mark Meredith, 60, of Goshen, passed peacefully at his home Saturday morning, Aug. 8, 2015, after a ten month battle with brain cancer.
He was born April 10, 1955, in Goshen.
On April 24, 1982, he married Tammy Hall in Elkhart.
She survives along with a son: Michael John Meredith, Belton, Ks.; his mother and her husband: Virginia (Crise) and Marvin Trost; his father’s wife: Joan Meredith; and seven siblings: Ruth (Jeff) Truex, Goshen; Marina Patrick, Leesburg; Keith Meredith, Pierceton; Michele (Terry) Walters, Warsaw; Marvin Trost Jr.; and Terry Trost, both of Elkhart; and Louis (Tricia) Trost, Osceola.
He was preceded in death by his father: Ronald K. Meredith.
A lifelong area resident he worked in maintenance at Nibco for 35 years and was a member at Whosoever Will Worship Center, Elkhart. He was the soundman and manager of the Southern Gospel group Sisters x Two, and was also a member of the band, Johnny Sprocket.
He loved to fish and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, funeral, all at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Carl Crise will officiate.
Burial will follow at Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen.
