Jeffery Michael Lawton, 32, formerly of Mishawaka and currently residing in Warsaw, passed away suddenly at home Monday, August 3, 2014. He was born March 7, 1983 in South Bend.

Jeff graduated from Penn High School in 2001. He was always full of life and loved snowboarding, skateboarding, and any extreme sport. There wasn’t a place he could go without knowing at least one person who loved and cared for him. He was currently employed by R and B Automotive in Warsaw in sales.

Jeff is survied by his mother: Deborah Lawton, Phoenix, Ariz.; his father: Gerry Lawton, South Bend; and brother: Chad (Molly) Lawton, Phoenix, Ariz.; as well as maternal grandparents: Bob and Bonnie McPike, Phoenix, Ariz.; and paternal grandparents: Doris Lawton, South Bend; and Carol (John) McClure, Goshen. Our beloved son and brother accepted Christ in his life last year, and shared that passion with us all. His jubilant and live for the moment attitude will leave a permanent and loving impression on all who knew him.

Funeral services for Jeff will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, in the Palmer Funeral Home, Hickey Chapel, South Bend. Graveside services and burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may visit from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, as well as one hour prior to services Friday, Aug. 7, in the funeral home.
