ELKHART – REAL Services and Alzheimer’s will host Lunch and Learn: Education Programs for Caregivers of Older Adults from 12:10 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. the first Friday of each month in the Action Den at Greenleaf Health Campus, 1201 E. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart.

This free series allows busy caregivers to learn about many care-giving topics and network with fellow caregivers.

The schedule is as follows:  Friday, Aug. 7, “Looking at Alzheimer’s/Dementia Through a Different Lens;” Friday, Sept. 4, “Understanding Veteran’s Administration Benefits;” Friday, Oct. 2, “The Glacial Flow of Early Alzheimer’s and Dementia;” Friday Nov. 6, “Understanding the Geriatric Psychiatric Treatment Process;” and Friday, Dec. 4, “Dealing with Grief and Bereavement During the Holidays.”
