Nong Y. Fulk, 64, of Syracuse, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. She was born on Jan. 6, 1951, in Bangkok, Thailand, to Bill and Norm Toopwong.
She attended public school in Thailand and moved to the United States 44 years ago from Thailand, where she lived most of those years in Syracuse and Florida. She was a factory worker and formerly employed at a rubber company in Ligonier.
She is survived by two daughters: Angela Steinbacher, Fort Wayne; and Sheila (Todd) Clark, Syracuse; son: John David (Crissy) Steinbacher, Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Nong had 12 siblings, and was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, July 27, at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Harlan Steffen of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
