DNR Announces Campground Rate Changes

Due to increasing campground operating costs, the Department of Natural Resources Division of Fish & Wildlife is raising its campground fees.

The fee increase will allow the division to continue maintaining and operating campgrounds at Willow Slough, J.E. Roush Lake and Glendale Fish & Wildlife Areas.

The increases ranged from $2 to $4 per night. Campground fees vary by season and amenities. The new fees are as follows.

•Electric sites: Glendale, $23/summer, $15/winter; J.E. Roush Lake, $15/summer, $15/winter.

•Non-electric sites: Glendale, $16/summer, $10/winter; Willow Slough, $12/summer, $10/winter.

•Primitive: J.E. Roush Lake, $12/summer, $10/winter; Willow Slough, $12/summer, $10/winter
