Helen J. “Ginger” Harrell, age 69, of Walkerton, passed away at 4:55 a.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Ginger was born on May 9, 1946, in South Bend, to Eugene Max and Gladys (Bailey) Kennedy. Ginger married Frank B. Harrell, on June 15, 1991, in Plymouth. Ginger loved to dance, read books, and enjoyed crafts, plants, and flowers. She had been a waitress at the Brass Rail and Story’s in Plymouth. She also worked at the Pilot News, BPC, Duravent, and Kingsley Furniture. Ginger will be fondly remembered by all who loved her.

Ginger is survived by her husband: Frank B. Harrell; children: David (Brenda) Anderson; Brody (Shelly) Anderson; Mike (April) Anderson; Mardel (Bill, deceased) Conway; stepson: Nathan (Olivia) Harrell; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers: Mike (Cheryl) Kennedy; and Michael (Kathy) Kuzniewicz; and stepsister: Gayle Burns. Ginger was preceded in passing by her sister: Patricia Cloud; stepsister: Monika Mitchell; and brother-in-law: Larry Harrell.

Memorials may be given to the Helen “Ginger” Harrell benefit fund, at any 1st Source Bank.

There will be no services.
