GOSHEN – Entries are now being accepted for the 34th edition of the Elkhart County 4-H Fair Parade 5,000 Road Run.

The annual event will take place on Sunday, July 26, preceding the annual fair parade through the streets of Goshen and ending at the grandstand at the fairgrounds.

Runners must pre-revgister by 8 p.m. on July 25 at www.4hfair.org. There will be no race day registration this year.

Cost to enter the 5K race is $22 and the first 400 entrants will receive a T-shirt. Last year, a record field of 496 runners took part in the run.

The run will begin at 1:20 p.m. on July 26 with the parade to follow at 1:30. Runners will need to check-in between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on race day at the race tent located on the northeast corner of the fairgrounds. Runners will then be bussed to Rogers Park for the start of the race.
