Ivy G. Kreamer, age 95, of Plymouth, passed away at 9:20 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, at her home.
Ivy was born on Aug. 29, 1919, in Walthamstow West, London, England, to Garnet and Esther (Lauducci) Sier. Ivy retired, from selling Avon Products, in Feb. of 2012, after over 60 years of providing her service to her faithful clients. Ivy was well known, in her early years with Avon, to have been seen riding her bike, all over town, and to her customer’s homes, taking orders and delivering Avon merchandise.
Ivy became the bride of Ralph C. Kreamer on Jan. 1, 1973, and moved to Kewanna. She loved her family and lived to see five generations. She truly enjoyed life, flowers, gardening, and her cats. She loved to travel, and returned to England four times. She also traveled to Hawaii, Cancun, Mexico, and vacationed on several cruises. Ivy was a member of Saint Thomas Episcopal Church for 62 years.
Ivy is survived by her loving family; her daughters: Bonnie Stay, Plymouth; and Linda Wright, Hartselle, Ala.; her son: Barry Stay, Plymouth; her stepson: Verl Ray Kreamer, Kewanna; grandson: James D. (Debra) Fetherolf, Eurharlee, Ga.; granddaughter: Eric L. (Daniel) Vaughn, Cartersville, Ga.; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Ivy was preceded in passing by her husband: Ralph C. Kreamer, on April 26, 2010; and her stepson: Jerry Lee Kreamer.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church, Plymouth. Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, after visitation, at the church, with Rev. Father Thomas Haynes, officiating. A luncheon will follow in the parish house. Interment will be at the Saint Thomas Episcopal Church, Columbarium.
