Both Warsaw Community and Wawasee high schools as well as Grace College will be hosting golf fundraisers to help support its athletic programs.

Wawasee will host its annual Warrior Open Monday, July 13, at South Shore Golf Club in Syracuse. Tee times for the event are 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., both shotgun starts. The four-member team scramble is $300 per team and includes lunch for all golfers. There is also an option for a $25 contest package which allows golfers the chance to earn prizes through contests along the course.

Proceeds from the event go toward the general athletic fund for Wawasee High School.

Hole sponsors for the Wawasee Warrior Open are still available in an array of levels in cost and exposure.

Warsaw will host the Lady Tiger Classic Saturday, July 18, at Rozella Ford Golf Club in Warsaw. The shotgun starts are 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. for the four-member teams. Cost per team is $220 and includes refreshments and prize contests along the course.

Hole sponsors for the Lady Tiger Classic are still welcome at $125 per hole.

Grace College will hold its annual Lancer Golf Classic Monday, Aug. 3, at Stonehenge Golf Club in Warsaw.

The event, which is an integral fundraiser for Grace Athletics that helps fund equipment, scholarships and facility upgrades for more than 250 student-athletes on the 15 varsity athletic teams at Grace.

The scramble will include a silent auction, prizes and a lunch provided in the clubhouse. Those in attendance will be eligible for prizes for longest drive, longest putt, closest-to-the-pin and team prizes. Golfers will also have the opportunity to interact with the athletic department staff, coaches and student-athletes.

Teams will be able to choose between a morning flight at 8 a.m. and an afternoon flight at 1 p.m. Cost per player is $120 or $420 per team of four.
