Darlene Nickerson, age 64, of Bremen, died at 9:12 p.m. Saturday, June 27,2015 at her residence.

She was born March 20, 1951, in Bremen to Junior Orville and Betty Eva (Gall) Boyer. She was a lifetime area resident.  Darlene had attended Bremen High School. On July 27, 1974, she married Daniel  Nickerson in Bremen. Darlene had been the Assistant manager at the Bremen Dairy Queen.

Surviving is her husband: Danny; children: William (Alice) Eggert, Plymouth; Susan (Jeff Plummer) Wireman; Nicole (Chad) Selby, Clermont, Fla.; Damian Nickerson; South Bend; grandchildren: William Eggert; Lauren Eggert; Morgan Fritz; C.J. Fritz; Danielle Eggert; Logan Selby; Makayla Selby; and great-grandchildren: Alexis Garberson; Landon Garberson; Troy Gunn; and Za’Nilyah Eggert. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: David Boyer; and sister: Marsha Boyer.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bremen. Rev. Neil Wonnacott will officiate.
