At approximately 5:10 p.m. officers from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department responded to a shooting incident that occurred at or near a residence at 17152 CR 146 in New Paris.

One individual was transported to the Goshen General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The scene has been secured and there is no imminent danger to the public.
