Kellie S. Keel
Kellie S. Keel, 51, of Bourbon, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at home with her family at her side.
She was born Sept. 30, 1963, in Warsaw, the daughter of Sammie and Pattie (Sumpter) Younce. She was a lifelong resident and a 1982 graduate of Triton High School. Kellie married William Keel on April 27, 1985, and he survives. She was homemaker and mother of three children.
Kellie was a faithful member of the Grace Outreach Fellowship Church at Tippecanoe. She was an avid sports fan, particularly Triton Athletics and golf. She enjoyed working with the youth group and youth activities of her church, the Cubs, the Bears and was a Dale Jarrett NASCAR fan.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three children: Samantha (Jered) Pugh, Hoopeston, Ill.; Emily Keel, Bourbon; and Colton Keel, Bourbon; her mother: Patiie Younce, Bourbon; her sister: Beth (Calvin) Woodard, Etna Green; two special friends: Sarah and Rebecca Weber, Tippecanoe; 10 nieces and nephews; along with 15 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sammie, April 2, 2011.
You are invited to celebrate Kellie’s life with family and friends from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Bourbon Bible Church, 12th Rd. Bourbon, IN 46504.
Funeral services will follow on at 4 p.m. in the church with Pastor Kenneth Todd officiating.
