Jake Lloyd, a native of Carmel, Indiana, has been arrested after leading police in South Carolina on a high speed chase in excess of 100 miles per hour last Wednesday, June 17.

The actor, who played Anakin Skywalker in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace” as a boy, led officers on a chase for more than 25 miles on I-95. According to police, Lloyd then drove through a fence into a wooded area and finally stopped after crashing into some trees.

Lloyd is being charged with failure to stop for police and reckless driving.
