LIGONIER – Mike Flora and Zita Everitt captured titles Saturday in the pair of races as part of the Strawberry Days.

Flora won the one-mile event in a time of 4:42.  Everitt was the top finisher in the half-mile race in a time of 3:34.

Doug Alles placed second in the one-mile race in 4:54. Dakota Thompson was third in 5:01 with Abraham Longoria fourth in 5:21 and Michael Weaver fifth, also in 5:21. Rounding out the top 10 were Nichole Emmert in sixth in 5:25, followed by Brian Shepherd (5:42),  Dean Speicher (5:49), Morgan Plank (5:58) and Isaac Flora (6:14).

Aracely Flores was 11th in a time of 6:23, followed by Grant Flora (6:33), Thalia Parson (6:35), Neyda Macias (6:39), Casey Wallen (6:40),  Maddie Leatherman (6:41), Tyler Rothhaar (6:46), Lexi Shepherd (6:48), Nate Shaw (7:03), Alondra Campos (7:06),  Nichole Byers (7:11), Mya Emmert (7:25), Alejandra Vallejo (7:26), Sara Weimer (7:27), Brynne Wedge (7:59), Taryn Brimhall (8:16), Kaylie Ratliff (8:28), Jessica Brimhall (8:49), Wes Shaw (9:04), Lydia Esquivel (9:13), Matthew Trinklein (10:15), Bethany Trinklein (11:38), Daniel Trinklein (11:41), Carla Trinklein (16:07) and Gerald Trinklein (16:08).

Michael Reigsecker was second in the half-mile run in a time of 3:57. Melinda Engleman was third in 4:03 with Daniel Speicher fourth in 4:15 and Ben Frend fifth in 4:16.

Caleb Peterson placed sixth in the half-mile run in a time of 4:17, followed by Isaac Everitt (4:23), Zach Spice (4:40), Cody Spice (4:53), Caleb Ryan (6:00) and Emery Ryan (6:35).
