Lakeland Art Association, 107 N. First St., Pierceton, is excited to announce that local artist, Andrew Corp will be exhibiting in their gallery throughout July.

Andy’s exciting poured acrylic abstracts are always colorful and interesting to view. Most represent water and sky, with dramatic crashing waves of color. This is an exhibit not to be missed.

The artist reception will be held at the gallery from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 5. Corp has planned a scavenger hunt event at the reception. The winner will receive a free original painting! Featured in this exhibit will be the artists’ most recent painting series titled “Pushing the Darkness Away.” Corp notes the series is an attempt to inspire hope in viewers, despite the darkness they may be facing in their lives.
