Severe Thunderstorm Watch, Flood Advisory Issued Until 11 P.M.
The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 11 p.m. today, Thursday, June 18.
In addition to Kosciusko County, other counties included are Adams, Allen, Blackford, Dearborn, Delaware, DeKalb, Fayette, Franklin, Grant, Henry, Huntington, Jay, LaGrange, Madison, Miami, Noble, Ohio, Randolph, Ripley, Steuben, Switzerland, Union, Wabash, Wayne, Wells and Whitley counties.
The main threat of the risk of severe thunderstorms is damaging wind gusts. A few of the storms may produce some hail. Localized heavy downpours are possible, which would aggravate ongoing flooding across areas where heavy rainfall has been experienced over the past week.
A flood advisory has also been issued for Kosciusko and surrounding counties. The flood advisory is in effect until 8 p.m.
