Mr. Nicholas Anthony Bart, 65, of Rochester, passed away at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at his residence.
On May 5, 1950, Nicholas was born in Oconto Falls, WI, the treasured son of Charles Nicholas and Grace Loretta Ballachino Bart. He graduated from Arrowhead High School of Heartland, Wis. in 1957 with his class. Following high school, he furthered his education achieving his life dream of becoming a teacher at Mount St. Paul’s College where he earned a bachelors in secondary education with a major in English.
As a sales department manager for Menards, Nicholas moved to Indiana after working in Wisconsin and accepting a transfer and promotion to the Menards locations in NW Indiana. He settled in Rochester following his retirement where he could enjoy golf and boating. To kick back and relax, Nicholas enjoyed cruising the sparkling waters of Lake Manitou with his cherished canine companion Bella. Always at his side whether it was on land or over the waters, Bella was always there.
Nicholas is lovingly remembered by two daughters: Farrah N. (Matthew) Mason, Lansing, Ill.; Lena D. (Bryon) Clouse, Cedar Lake; a son: Anthony C. Bart, Valparaiso; five grandchildren: Sophia; Norrah; Aubrey; Brock; Drew; the mother of his children: Judy K. Marion; and his canine companion: Bella, a yellow Lab.
Preceding Nicholas in death are his parents.
