Battle Bots…Roll Out

After an exciting week of preparing their very own robots for battle through various games and activities, the RCX Battle Bot Camp for fourth through ninth graders instructed by Ryan Edgar at Wawasee Middle School held their final battles on June 5.

A total of six teams participated in many battles against each other to see who would come out on top during a week long camp presented by the Wawasee Robotics Club. Fourth place belonged to team Fives represented by Titus Taylor and Theo Frick.

Third place was won by team Ultron ran by Connor Lucas. For the championships, two teams battled each other in an exciting match with the second place spot was won by the only female member of the robotics camp, Dominica Brito also known as team Nica.

The first place championships spot was won by team Double H represented by Pierce Haskins and Jacob Hood with a score of two to zero against team Nica in a three round match.
