W. Jay Windsor, 64, of Wabash, died at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at his home. He was born Aug. 28, 1950, in Wabash, to James and Wilma Mae (Schrader) Windsor.

Jay was a 1969 graduate of Wabash High School, and received an Associate Degree from Ivy Tech. He worked at Ford Meter Box for 30 years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Wabash American Legion. Jay enjoyed line dancing, traveling, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Jay is survived by two children: Robert William (Vanessa) Windsor, Westfield; and Jennifer Ann (Erik) Schmoyer, Brownsburg; three grandchildren: Hadley Windsor, Westfield; Reagan Windsor, Westfield; and Kaleb Schmoyer, Brownsburg; and a grandaughter on the way; two brothers: Randy Windsor, Elkhart; and Bruce Windsor, both of Wabash; several nieces and nephews; great-niece: Alexis Windsor; and great-nephew: Jonathan Windsor, both of Wabash.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister: Kay Windsor.

Friends may call 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, June 5 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family for Jay’s grandchildren’s college fund.
