A rare piebald fawn was born at Deer Tracks Junction in Cedar Springs, Michigan recently. The fawn was named “Dragon” by workers, who are taking care of him after he was rejected by his mother.
Only 1 percent of whitetail fawns are born piebald, or with large patches of unpigmented skin. Their chance of survival in the wild is minimal.

Deer Tracks Junction is a working farm that raises many different types of animals for different purposes. It has pigs, goats, miniature donkeys, deer, elk and reindeer as well as an ice cream shop, theater and other attractions. Visitors are welcome.
