WINONA LAKE – The Warsaw boys golf team closed out regular-season play in convincing fashion Tuesday night.
The host Tigers celebrated Senior Night with a 26-shot victory over Elkhart Memorial at the Stonehenge Golf Club.
Warsaw shot a 153 to best the Crimson Chargers, who finished with a 179.
Senior Jonny Hollar, a four-year standout for coach Ben Barkey’s program, led the way for the winners with a 36 on the night.
Senior Ryan Cultice shot a 39 for the Tigers. The trio of Sam Yeager, Tim Rata and Luke Delp each also shot 39s for Warsaw in the win.
Reid Cameron finished with a 41 and Brandon Eckert a 42 for Warsaw. Michael Jensen shot a 43.
Seniors Hollar, Cultice, Cameron and Eckert were honored prior to the match.
Warsaw will begin postseason play on Friday as they host the Warsaw Sectional at Rozella Ford.
