CULVER – The Warsaw junior varsity boys golf team finished second in the LaVille Invitational on Saturday at Mystic Hills.
Plymouth claimed the team title with a score of 302. The Tigers shot 327 to earn a runner-up finish with New Prairie third at 333. Tippecanoe Valley was fourth at 338, followed by Marquette (356), Oregon-Davis (369), Glenn Black (387) and Glenn Red (405).
Sam Yeager led the way for Warsaw with a round of 78.
Luke Delp came in with a 79 for the Tigers. Tim Rata shot an 82 with Luke Johnson carding an 88 and Tommy Meier a 95.
The Warsaw varsity squad was rained out on Saturday at the Lafayette Jefferson Classic.
Warsaw will host Elkhart Memorial Tuesday for Senior Night at Stonehenge at 5 p.m. The Tigers will then host the Warsaw Sectional on Friday at Rozella Ford.
