The bats were busy Monday night in the Northfield at Tippecanoe Valley softball game.

The two teams combined for 38 hits as visiting Southwood outscored the hosts 22-13 in a Three Rivers Conference contest.

Abby Betten had a huge night for Valley. She went 4-5 at the plate with two doubles and drove in three runs.

Katie Prater and Kaitlyn Ott each had two hits and three RBI for the Vikings.

Darian Dotson and Mia Gunnels each had two RBI for Valley.

Valley, now 3-14, will host Whitko on Wednesday.
