Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at 3:12 p.m. Thursday on US 33 at CR 40, south of Goshen.

Debra S. Swinehart, 56, Elkhart, complained of neck and back pain following the accident. She was transported to IU Health Goshen.

Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department reports Swinehart was northbound on US 33, south of CR 40, in a 2014 Nissan Rogue. Grace E. Heckman, 18, New Paris, was westbound on CR 40 in a 2002 Mazda G26 and stopped at the stop sign. Heckman proceeded into the intersection hitting the side of Swinehart’s vehicle. The impact caused the Swinehart vehicle to overturn.

No enforcement action was taken for the crash.
