Astound Dance Academy is excited to announce the results of the competition their performance company participated in.

This past weekend, the group of seven dancers traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan to present 13 dances at the Rainbow National Dance Competition. Astound Dance Academy is proud of their Performance Company for bringing home two first place overall scores, one from a soloist and a third place overall score.

They also received two cash prizes for their top overall scores. Of the 13 numbers taken to competition, four earned double platinum scores (the highest possible score) and nine of their numbers earned platinum scores.

“These dancers have worked incredibly hard this year and show growth each and every week. They are very deserving of the recognition they received and I am always proud of them.” stated Alexandra Jackson, owner and director of Astound Dance Academy.

There will be two shows open to the public at 2 p.m. and again at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 6.
