13-24 Drive In Opens With Record Attendance
In an age of declining attendance at outdoor drive-in theaters across the country, the 13-24 Drive In of Wabash boasted record-breaking attendance during their opening weekend May 1 and 2. Nearly 2,000 enthusiastic movie-goers watched “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” from the comfort of their cars and with perfect May weather. INGUARD generously providing kids 12 and under free admission all summer long ensures that families can experience a memorable evening at the movies under the stars. For those who did not get the opportunity to see the blockbuster film, “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” will play again at the drive-in the weekend of May 8 and 9.
Beginning June 4, “Retro Reels” will kick off the first throwback film series at the 13-24 Drive In. Each Thursday throughout the month of June will feature a big-screen hit from yesteryear for only $5 per carload.
Showing during Retro Reels will be:
- June 4 – “Grease”
- June 11 – “E.T. the Extra Terrestrial”
- June 18 – “Top Gun”
- June 25 – “Dirty Dancing”
This summer the 13-24 Drive In will also offer patrons the opportunity to buy a Season Pass. The $40 pass applies to one single admission for guests ages 12 and over and can be used unlimitedly on Friday and Saturday nights of the 2015 season. The passes can be purchased at the drive in throughout normal operating hours, the Honeywell Center Box Office and online at www.1324drivein.com. The pass is non-refundable, non-transferable and you must have a photo ID present at the time the pass is used. Kids 12 and under continue to be admitted free compliments of INGUARD.
