The Sounds by South Bend music festival, held in downtown South Bend, starts this evening. The festival celebrates the original music from in and around the Midwest.
Over the course of the next three days, more than 45 bands will play 15 venues throughout the city. Tickets start at $10, and 10 percent of online ticket sales benefit The Unity Gardens of South Bend.
