The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement advising of areas of dense fog this morning.

Visibility may be reduced to a quarter mile or less in some places. NWS advises drive slowly, use low beam headlights and allow for extra travel time. Be sure to allow plenty of space between vehicles when driving.

Conditions are expected to improve after 9 a.m. By the afternoon, temperatures expected to reach the lows 80s.

Kosciusko, Marshall, Elkhart and Fulton Counties are affected by the special weather statement.
