Susan Elizabeth Stump, 67, of Wickenburg, Ariz., formerly of Syracuse, passed away on Nov. 4, 2013, in Phoenix after a long illness.

She was born on May 5, 1946, in Wolf Lake, to Betty Jean (Palmer) and Samuel Lewis Stump.

She had lived in Arizona for 17 years. She was a loving mother, loved to prospect for gold, was an avid rock collector and a caring grandmother.

She is survived by a daughter: Jena (Ed) Flavell; two sons: Michael J. (Brenda) Stump and Samuel S. Joseph Stump; a granddaugther: Sarah E. Lemmon; grandsons: Johnathon Stump, Christopher Efaw, Kyle O. Koenig, Billy A. Wooden, Ronnie J. Flavell; sisters: Judy L. Wolf and Sarah Sally Strong; several nieces, nephews, wonderful family and cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Betty Kaufman and Samuel Stump; brother: Thomas J. Stump; and sister: Debra Christian.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at McClintic Cemetery, 8079 E. McClintic Road, Syracuse.
