The Whitko girls tennis team lost 5-0 to Wabash Thursday.

The visitors won all five matches in straight sets to claim the Three Rivers Conference match.

The trio of Delaney Keirn, Morgan Keirn and Natali Iholtz competed in singles for the Wildcats.

The teams of Jackie Werstler and Mikayla Finley and Aurelia Slusher and Blair Creamer played in doubles action for Whitko.

Whitko will host Southwood on Monday.

JV Baseball Drops One

The Whitko junior varsity baseball team lost a 12-7 final at West Noble Thursday.

Brandon Fugate and Damian Busenbark each had a hit and an RBI to lead Whitko. Bailey Platt took the pitching loss for the Wildcats.

Whitko, now 9-3, will play at Tippecanoe Valley Friday.
