Children’s Book Week

Come to the library Monday, May 4, through Saturday, May 9, to celebrate Children’s Book Week. Down in the children’s department we will be giving away a stuffed animal and book each day. All you have to do is come and check out books in the children’s department. Come in all week to check out some books.

Adult Craft Night

Now that winter is behind us, it’s time to think of planting and gardening. Join us at 6 p.m. Monday, May 11, when we will be making indoor herb garden planters. These adorable planters are made from clay terracotta pots and decorated with black chalkboard paint and twine ribbon for a rustic appearance. All materials are include in the price and each person will be making two pots for a total cost of $10. A sign up sheet will be available at the circulation desk in the adult department.
