The Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce helped welcome a new business to Syracuse Saturday morning.

Mission Based Services cut the ribbon on their new home inside of the plaza on the corner of North Huntington and West Main streets, Streets.

Mission Based Services owner Steve Peer of Better Living Technologies and Dr. Natalie Abigail used the foyer of the plaza building to display various items the shop would carry, including essential oils and natural foods. Abigail said the store would also have a Christian gift shop area, selling T-shirts with Bible verses and encouraging script printed on each shirt.

Representatives for the various products Mission Based Services will carry were on hand at the grand opening.

According to Abigail, the business will host monthly health clinics where the public can freely attend and learn more about the all-natural products available.

The Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, Peer and Abigail cut the yellow ribbon to officially welcome to new business at 11 a.m., and celebrated with a custom cake and other snacks.
