FORT WAYNE – A team effort carried the Whitko softball team past host Carroll 8-7 Monday night.

The Wildcats scored a run in the fifth and a pair in the sixth inning to rally for the victory over the Chargers.

Tori Silveus earned the pitching win with relief help from Hanna Yohe in the final two innings.

Leading the offense for the winners were Haley Yohe, Hanna Yohe, Silvers, Kennedy Krull, Aly Nicodemus and Whitney Marsh.

Whitko will host Central Noble Friday evening.
