Sixth graders at Warsaw Christian were invited to paint bowls for the upcoming Empty Bowls event to help feed people in need. Grace College Instructor of Art Integrations and Ceramics, Cindy Bryan, assisted students with the project to prepare for the event to be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. May 2, at the Village of Winona Pavilion.

The partnership of Grace College and The Village of Winona has a goal to give net proceeds from Empty Bowls to local food pantries and homeless shelters. The community can support the local food pantries by having a simple lunch of soup and bread with a unique handmade bowl to keep.
