NORTH WEBSTER – Applications are being accepted for the first 15 men and 15 women to participate in the 2015 Tournament of Champions.

The ten-event skills competition, to be held Saturday, June 20, at North Webster Elementary School, has athletes competing for college scholarships provided by the Shoop Sports and Youth Foundation.

Tournament events include one-mile run, free throw contest, standing long jump, pull ups, shuttle run, obstacle course, soccer course, 40-yard dash, long distance shoot-out and football/softball throw. Prizes range in the form of scholarships from $2,000 for first place to $500 for fourth for men and women. Participants must be high school graduates and no older than 24 years old.
