Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

7:07 a.m. Saturday, April 18, North SR 13 south of East CR 150N, Pierceton. Driver: Amber L. Filion, 32, West Drake Road, Kendallville. Filion struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000

11:07 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 7536 E CR 200N, North Webster. Driver: Mayango D. Kollie, 25, West North Bend Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. Kollie backed into a chain link security fence, which attached to the trailer of Kollie’s vehicle. The fence then struck a parked vehicle registered to Gregory L. Kern of North Webster. Damage up to $25,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

10:26 a.m. Saturday, April 18, East Center and North Hickory streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Darlleen R. Shepherd, 63, CR 200S, Warsaw, and Larry D. Williamson, 73, CR 525E, Warsaw. Shepherd, who was southbound on Hickory Street turned left into Williamson’s westbound vehicle. Shepherd was treated by medics at the scene and was later transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damages up to $25,000

3:51 p.m. Friday, April 17, South Buffalo Street west of East Prairie Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Kristi K. Loftis, 36, West Center Street, Warsaw, and Jeremy W. Gonis, 31, South CR 675W, Warsaw. Loftis attempted to merge onto East Prarie Street and struck the rear left tire of Gonis’s vehicle. Damages up to $5,000
