Mary Helen Mollenhour, 91, of Warsaw, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015, at her residence in Warsaw.
She retired after 38 years of service from the Free Methodist Publishing House. Mary wintered in Fort Myers, Fla., and spent her summers residing on Winona Lake. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, member of the Elks Lodge, American Legion and Moose Lodge in Warsaw.
She was born on April 19, 1923 in Kosciusko County, to Merl Brown and Mary Viola (Helser) Brown. On Feb. 1, 1941, she was married for 68 years to Max Hudson Mollenhour, who passed away on March 14, 2009.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Suzanne (Ed) Huffer, Warsaw; Janet (David) Kelley, Spencerville; nine grandchildren: Melanie (Chad) Wilhite, Warsaw; Kelly (Scott) Shipley, Warsaw; Beth (Chris) Cummins, Warsaw; Christopher (Marie) Kelley, Fort Wayne; Greg (Tony) Kelley, Martinez, Calif.; Jody (Erik) Linnemeier, Fort Wayne; James (Erin) Kelley, Fort Wayne; Megan (Tony) Reynolds, Leo; Lindsey (Nik) Kohlmeier, Fort Wayne; 20 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers; and one sister.
Her memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, April 20, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer of Warsaw Community Church.
There will be time for visitation prior to the memorial service from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 20. Burial will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
