Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

2:54 a.m. Thursday, April 16, US 30, east of North CR 500W, Atwood. Driver: Michael J. Fowler, 28, West Main Street, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.

5:52 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 3104 Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Drivers: Gregory T. Kester, 52, East Wooster Road, Pierceton, and Marcelo B. Rosales Jr., 16, East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Kester didn’t see Rosales while he was backing his vehicle, resulting in a collision. Rosales then left the scene on foot. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

12:07 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2280 Provident Court, Warsaw. Drivers: Kristy E. Schmitt, 62, South Elaine Drive, Warsaw, and Caroline F. Mayer, 16, Country Club Road, Warsaw. The two vehicles collided when both drivers were attempted to back out of their respective parking spaces. Damage up to $10,000.
