UPDATE: Christy L. Gano, 35, West CR 1300S, Silver Lake, complained of pain to the neck after a rear-end collision Wednesday. The accident was at 2:59 p.m. at West Prairie Street and South Buffalo Street. She was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital.

Nicholas R. Colquitt, 16, EMS T26B Lane, Leesburg, was eastbound on Prairie Street and stopped in traffic. He stated when the light turned gree, the first car pulled forward and he looked to the left. After releasing the brake, he began to accelerate and looked in front of him to see the Gano vehicle was still stopped. He attempted to hit the brake but could not stop in time.

Damage was estimated up to $2,500.

Emergency personnel are currently responding to an accident located at Prairie and South Buffalo streets in Warsaw.

One individual is being checked at the scene by EMS and the fire department is currently clearing the scene.
