Judith “Judy” Ann (Vanlaningham) Barker, 65, Milford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, in her home after a courageous fight against cancer.
Judy was born on July 9, 1949 in Warsaw to Howard and Mary Jean (Wolferman) Vanlaningham.
She is survived by her mother, Mary, Milford; her husband, Stephen Barker, Milford; her son: Tony Barker, Santa Cruz, Calif.; her daughter: Stephanie Ducheteau, Milford; her brothers: Terry (Brenda) Vanlaningham, Mentone and Mark (Melanie) Vanlaningham, Mentone. Also surviving are granddaughters: Theresa (Matthew) Phillips, Sacramento, CA and Josephine Ducheteau, Milford; great-granddaughter: Charlotte Rose Phillips, and nieces and nephews: Cameron Vanlaningham, Hilary (J.D) Parker, Cory Vanlaningham, Benjamin Vanlaningham, Samuel Vanlaningham, and Emily (Chad) Dennie.
She is preceded in passing by her father, Howard.
A memorial service will be held at Brook Pointe Inn, 4906 E. 1200 N in Syracuse, at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Family members will be available from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for anyone who would like to pay their respects before the service begins.
