LEESBURG – The Kosciusko Board of REALTORS will host its 22nd annual Charity Golf Outing on Monday, June 8, 2015, at the Tippecanoe Lake Country Club in Leesburg.

The festivities will begin with a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the clubhouse followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. There will be awards for first, second and last place teams, closest to the pin, longest putt and many more.

The Board of REALTORS is eager to award another big prize package to a hole-in-one winner, just as it did in 2014. Denny Duncan hit a hole-in-one on the 175-yard eighth of the Tippecanoe course. The chances of hitting a hole-in-one, for the average handicap golfer, are approximately 12,000 to 1. By doing so, Duncan won a choice of premium golf equipment.

Proceeds from the 2015 event will benefit the Kosciusko Board of REALTORS Children’s Charities including three annual $1,000 college scholarships, kid’s Back to School Backpack Program and “Boots for Scholars”.

The Kosciusko Board of REALTORS has a rich history of community involvement. The group has awarded $63,000 in college scholarships since 1993. The scholarships are specifically designed to assist bright and motivated students to pay for their education expenses.

The 2014 scholarship winner, Kaci Whitehead, shared, “Your generous scholarship has made a huge difference in helping me financially pay for college. I will continue to help others through community service and promise to pay forward this support, just as your organization has helped so many others.”
