Spring Hooley Classic Car Auction Set For April 18
Springtime has returned with the arrival of the Spring Hooley Classic Car Auction on April 18, at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds in Goshen. The auction will feature original, and restored vehicles from the 1930s, wide bodies from the 1950s and muscle cars from 1960s through the 1970s.
There will also be sports cars and street rods. Plus 50 or more cars will be on display in the cars for sale lot in addition to the auction cars. Admission and parking for the event is free.
Featured in this year’s sale line up is a 1964 Pontiac GTO, 1971 Chevy Chevelle SS (454) convertible, 1956 Cadillac Coupe De Ville, High finish 1937 and 1938 Street Rods, 55 and 56 Chevys, several Corvettes and Porsches, and 3 or 4 Model A’s.
The sale will also have Cushman Scooters, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and golf carts. A full lineup of 100 plus vehicles will be auctioned off starting at 10 a.m. with about one hour of automotive memorabilia at 9 a.m. A complete list of all vehicles in the auction and other info is at the company website www.bartelandcompany.com

“This year marks 18 years we have been doing this auction. We have cars in all price ranges, from museum quality to daily drivers. People and cars are coming from all over the country. It is a very well attended and fun event. We never know what surprises might show up at the auction,” says Brad B. Hooley, promoter and chief auctioneer of the event.
