William R. ‘Bill’ Flynn

William FlynnWilliam R. “Bill” Flynn, 81, of Syracuse, passed away at 10:58 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, at IU Goshen Hospital in Goshen.

He was born on Feb. 5, 1934, in North Webster, to Vern and Cathryn (Angel) Flynn.

He was a lifetime North Webster area resident and attended North Webster Public Schools. He was a United States Veteran of the Korean War and was married to Frances Flynn who survives. He retired from Dalton Foundry and R.R. Donelley in Warsaw after several years of service. He was a member of the North Webster Church of God and former member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.

He is survived by his wife: Frances Flynn, Coal City; two sons: Greg Flynn and Rick Flynn, both of Syracuse; and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery with pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Military services will follow by the North Webster American Legion.

Memorial bequest may be given to the William Flynn Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 72, North Webster, IN 46555. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
