UPDATE: At 4:02 p.m. Friday, April 3, Jay E. Hobaugh, 76, Cumberland Avenue, West Lafayette, was northbound on Detroit Street in Warsaw and attempted a left-hand turn at the intersection of Detroit and Fort Wayne Street.

In doing so, he pulled into the path of Glenn R. Robbins, 52, Monoquet Road, Warsaw, causing a collision. Airbags deployed in both vehicles.

Robbins and his passenger, Vontellia Robbins, 46, Monoquet Road, Warsaw, were treated by EMS at the scene. Warsaw Police Department and Multi-Township EMS assisted at the scene. Damages were estimated up to $10,000.

At approximately 4 p.m. Friday, April 3, emergency personnel were dispatched to the 300 block of Detroit Street for an automobile accident.

Air bag deployment was reported. One of the drivers was evaluated by EMS. Please avoid the area until police have cleared the scene.
