There have reportedly been numerous railroad crossing closures throughout the Syracuse area.

Though railroad officials have been contacted for an explanation and estimated time of reopening, according to officials, no information has been provided as to why the crossings are closed.

Officials did note however the railroad crossing at Oak Street will soon be open for traffic.
