Jefferson Elementary, Warsaw, had some special visitors Tuesday afternoon, March 31.

Warsaw Police Chief Scott Whitaker, father of Jefferson Spartans Mason, Jocelyn and Addison, came to speak to some of the students. Whitaker brought along the K-9 unit to demonstrate how these working dogs serve our community. The demonstration was conducted by Officer Phil Reed and his K-9 partner Dax, a Belgian malinois.

There was also time for questions by the students.

It was an exciting and informative presentation.
