Linda C. Novotny, 53, of Warsaw, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at her residence. She was born on March 2, 1962 to Ken and Jane (Downs) Duszynski in Michigan City.
She graduated from Elston High School, Michigan City. On Aug. 6, 1988, she married David Novotny in Warsaw. He survives. She worked as a Teacher’s Aide for Madison Elementary School, Warsaw, from 2013 to 2015. She also was a former Mary Kay consultant.
Linda was a Notre Dame fan and loved going to the games. She also loved going on family trips. One of her great accomplishment in life was to be able to have her son Dawson, though In Vitro Fertilization.
Linda is survived by her husband: David Novotny, Warsaw; a son: Dawson Novotny, Warsaw; her siblings: Marsha; Patricia; Michael; Paul; and Ken Jr., all of Michigan City; and Cathy, of Evansville; also brothers and sisters in law: Mark, Staci and Andrea Novotny; and Rich Topalski, all of Mishawaka.
Her funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer of Warsaw Community Church officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
