The “spring” weather continues to cause headaches for high school athletic directors.

The forecast for more cold conditions the next several days have already forced the postponement of three events for WCHS.

The Warsaw softball scrimmage at Fort Wayne Snider on Thursday (March 26) has been cancelled. The Tigers are scheduled to host Elkhart Central Saturday at 11 a.m. in their season opener.

The Warsaw boys track home meet versus Fort Wayne Snider, also set for Thursday, is also cancelled. The Tigers are now slated to open their season next Tuesday (March 31) at Penn.

The Warsaw girls track home opener on Friday (March 27) versus Bremen is also cancelled. The team’s season opener at Penn tonight (March 25) at 5 p.m. was still on as of 10 a.m. today.
