Trinda Wegener, 64, of Milford, passed away on March 18, 2015, at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born on Aug. 7, 1950, in Coldwater, Mich. She worked many years at Johnson Controls, Bertch Vending, and later on at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse.

She is survived by her two sons: Scott (Jessica) Wegener, Syracuse; Quinn (Sarah) Wegener, Syracuse; four grandchildren: Justin, Brendan, Cayden and Aundreya Wegener, all of Syracuse; one sister: Patty Workman, Syracuse; three brothers: Elmer Steele, Syracuse; Rick Gay, Syracuse; and Carl Thompson, Goshen; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her granddaughter: Audrey Wegener; as well as her brother: Dewey Gay; and her parents: Cecil and Elaeanor Steele.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 22, prior to the service.
